Presented for the first time in Occident, the arts of central Himalayan (Uttaranchal) bards holds an unknown place in the sounds from Indian Sub-Continent. Its rich oral litterary culture is held by Indian folklorist to be classified in the popular ballads and is divided into two categories: chanted epopees and ceremonials musics.
